Curated and led by NPR favorite Don Reed and bestselling author and award-winning comedian David Nihill, Folktale welcomes “Pour & Tell,” featuring a rotating cast of master storytellers from The Moth, Snap Judgment, HBO, Late Night, Off-Broadway, and beyond. 

This isn’t your typical night out. The Folktale Storytelling Series pairs unforgettable true stories with exceptional wine, seasonal culinary delights, and an atmosphere that transforms a regular evening into something truly magical.

Because the best stories, like the best wines, are meant to be shared.

Don Reed, the NPR award-winning storyteller and Tonight Show veteran, brings big energy, razor-sharp wit, and unforgettable characters to the stage.

David Nihill, with credits from Dry Bar Comedy, TED, NPR, Amazon Prime Video, Sirius XM, and the Late Late Show, to Just For Laughs, and the winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition.

Scott Sanders, racking up appearances on The Moth GrandSlams, Mainstage, and NPR’s Snap Judgement. He’s currently putting the finishing touches on his book, A Storyteller’s Wild Life: 30 Reasons My Therapist Stares at Me Blinking.

Mary Carouba, an author, professional speaker, and veteran stand-up, has more slam titles than most have stories, multiple Moth StorySlam and Grand Slam wins, plus a glittering list of West Side Stories victories.
